The church is full of people who care deeply about the hurting around them but have no idea what to do about it. They watch struggling marriages, prodigal kids, people drowning in anxiety and grief, and they feel helpless.
The Biblical Mentor exists to change that.
These courses don’t teach you to be a counselor. They equip you to be a mentor. Someone who shows up, opens the Word, and walks alongside a person in their pain. That’s what the church has always been for.
Marriages in your church are hurting. This course equips you to come alongside them as a biblical mentor. You’ll know what to say, how to walk through it with them, and how to point them to the only thing that actually works.

Who is Dave Whalen?
I’m a husband, father, and ACBC-certified biblical counselor in San Antonio, TX.
My wife Jocelyn and I spent years trying everything the world offered to fix our marriage.
Therapy. Strategies. Coping methods. None of it lasted. What finally changed us was biblical counseling and the Word of God applied to the real problems in our hearts.
I build these courses because I’ve seen what’s possible when someone who knows the Word comes alongside a hurting person and actually helps. That person can be you.
